New York City had over 13,000 complaints of bed bug infestations in 2009, which was 800% higher than 2008 (I looked this up online because I’m still not over the fact I was one of these cases and I’m clearly still obsessed with these stupid bugs). Most of the bedbugs in New York live in Brooklyn (I live in Queens, yay!), which is where I saw this odd exterminator. Only in an affluent Brooklyn neighborhood known for frapaccinos and baby strollers would you find a yuppy, foreign car-driving exterminator. I must say, it’s the cutest little exterminator I’ve ever seen.
The license plate was the best part.
I don’t know if these guys are any good. To be honest, I prefer the old school kind of exterminators, like the guys who got rid of my bedbugs.
Maybe I’m partial to the kind of guys who will also pretend to kill me.
