While driving all over America, I found a lot of steamboats
Like this steamboat casino

This steamboat Pancake Restaurant

and this steamboat….

with no particular purpose
My favorite steamboat was this Howard Johnson motel

until I realized it was not only half a steamboat,

but also just a stupid building and not an actual steamboat.
These people didn’t seem to mind though.

I started to think maybe a lot of places that seemed amazing were actually just ugly buildings.
Like this antebellum mansion I’d seen on the side of the road

that was just a huge ugly building with an antebellum mansion attached to it.

(I think maybe it was a windowless hotel)
It reminded me of another nice mansion with a stupid building attached to it

that was upside down for some reason
In Tennesse I had seen signs for the Titanic

and had even seen what looked like the remains of the Titanic

In Missouri, though, I actually found the Titanic!

Once again, I was disappointed when I realized that not only did it have a stupid building attached to it like the rest of ‘em

But it was only half a Titanic!

Best day of constant disappointments on Summer Tour 2009 ever!
