One day I was driving through Idaho and realized I needed some gas
so I stopped at this station in the middle of nowhere.
I had no idea it would be the gas station of my dreams.
Not only did it have a place to sleep in my truck with other nomadic folks
but they had free use of golf carts for guests
as well as amazing security
and satellite televsion
They labeled everything clearly for older folks who can’t see very well
although there wasn’t any hot coffee behind that door
or in that trash can
The ATM’s location was more appropriately labeled in this sign fortunately
I couldn’t believe this gas station also had a picnic area outside
a U-haul rental
and huge supply of Beanie Babies!!!!!
But that wasn’t all.
Inside the store, they had a Perfect Petz Adoption Center,
a more than huge supply of Beanie Babies,
and an even larger selection of wine.
My favorite thing, however, was the yummy ice cream potato
Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find a single place other than Idaho that sells this.
Best day of dream-come-true gas station on Summer Tour 2009 ever!
