Tiny Town, USA

Dora and I stayed in Tiny Town for a few days. It was in the middle of nowhere, which was perfect. Anything to be away from the chaos of cities for a little while. Except for the castle-like pilars in the town entrance, Tiny Town was just an ordinary, average town like an everywhere else in America

It had what every great town has.

a gas station

decent public transportation

local farms

and a great school, equipped with teeny tiny books and photos on each desk.

The plumbing was the only thing lacking in this perfect town

Big surprise the boys room was nasty.

Overall, Tiny Town was the perfect town

Until……
IMG_4975
A bunch of trouble makers came to town and broke into this house

IMG_5001
They stole everything valuable, and destroyed the rest

IMG_4993
even the grand piano!

Luckily, Tiny Town had a great police force. They captured the criminals and had them in custody at the courthouse within hours

Each criminal got to make one phone call.
IMG_5004

But the phone calls did them no good
IMG_5005
a jury found them guilty and put them away for life.

I went to the church when I found out
IMG_4983
and said a prayer for both victim and perpetrator

The next day, another tragedy occurred.
IMG_4965
Despite their unusually large water supply ( with the hydrant being almost the same size as the fire house itself), the fire department wasn’t able to save this poor house

IMG_4984
so it burned down to the ground.

Luckily, that was all the bad luck Tiny Town saw for awhile. Things quickly went back to being normal again
IMG_4969
I hung out at this house a lot because it had a pool 10 times bigger than the house itself.

Dora and I had to eat at the truck because the tables in this restaurant weren’t big enough to accomodate the both of us

We did grab some groceries from this store, although we didn’t get our money’s worth, being that everything was so tiny

IMG_4987

Tiny Town had everything Dora and I could have dreamed of. We were sad to have to move on.

Right before we left, Dora told me to come over and look in the window of this house.

IMG_5007

My God!

IMG_4986

I couldn’t believe what she found

Dora was famous in Tiny Town! Who knows where else she’s famous.

This was the best day in a Tiny Town EVER on Summer Tour 2009!!!!
